Pogba “You have to accept Mourinho’s decisions”

Manchester United star Paul Pogba defended his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.

The French midfielder was rumored to be unsettled due to his manager leaving him out of games including Champions League last 16 legs against Sevilla.

Pogba said: “He is the coach, he makes the decisions. Me, I am a player. I accept it and I have to respond on the pitch.”

Paul signed a United contract for a world record fee of £89m back in 2016 and has had his ups and downs in a Red Devils shirt since then. What added to the rumors was Guardiola’s comments about Pogba’s agent offering him to sign the French star in January.

Pogba didn’t leave such points unattended: “Mourinho has made me captain. He gave me the keys, the responsibilities at a great club like Manchester United.

“For the time being, I am at Manchester United and I am only thinking about the present. We are in the FA Cup final; I have a World Cup to come.

“Transfers, all that sort of thing, are not on my mind.”
