Courtois happy to extend Chelsea stay

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is ready to stay beyond the end of this season at the London club.

With many rumors of him being unsettled and with Real Madrid‘s interest, the chances of him leaving have become great.

But it seems like the Belgium international might have a change in heart and will be ready to stay at the club despite his previous comments.

Courtois said: “I’ve got one more year at Chelsea and I’m feeling good there. At the end of the season, we’ll sit together and develop a good vision. I’m looking calmly forward to it and I know that I will be at Chelsea next year as well.

“If I can go to the World Cup with a clear idea – signing a new contract or waiting one more year, I will be relaxed. I’m still proud to play at Chelsea and I want to win more trophies there.”
