Mourinho insists Pogba will stay

Speculations about Manchester United star Paul Pogba started to roam the media claiming that the French star is aiming at life away from Old Trafford.

There have been talks that Pogba was looking at offers elsewhere especially when Premier League champions Manchester City‘s manager Pep Guardiola claimed that agent Mino Raiola offered him the services of the Frenchman back in January. Talks which were then labeled as “lies” by Mourinho.

Jose seems to be fed up with such rumors as he took it to the press to explain the matter by insisting that neither he nor the club want to sell and that Pogba is guaranteed a place at the Manchester United squad next season.

“I think he’s going to be here next season, that’s my feeling.”

“I can give the guarantee that I don’t want him to leave, that the club doesn’t want to sell him, and I can give you the guarantee that we don’t have any approach from him or his agent or from any club,” Mourinho added.

“In this moment, for me, he’s staying, yes.”
