Ozil out of action for up to 3 months

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has been ruled out for 10-12 weeks with a knee ligament tear.

Ozil is currently on international duty with Germany and the world champions announced earlier on Tuesday that he would be undergoing an MRI scan to check on a knee injury.

The prognosis is devastating for Arsenal, who are now set to be without their £42 million club record signing for the rest of 2014.
