Real Madrid eye Pochettino as Zidane replacement

After the surprise announcement of former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, the Spanish giants are looking at Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino as a top candidate.

This might be too tough to ask for seeing that the Argentinian has just penned a new deal that keeps him in his current position until 2023.

Zidane’s resignation perhaps came at an unexpected time which could disturb Real Madrid’s transfer targets and departures as well with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale being linked with a move elsewhere.

Another target for Real Madrid would be Arsene Wenger who is yet to announce where he’ll be managing next season having said that he turned down Real Madrid a couple of times during his reign at Arsenal.

Pochettino would be a long-term project for Real Madrid who are reportedly going to give it everything to sign him.
